\u00d6kosil Ltd is an environmental company, founded by the Republic of Estonia and Silmet Grupp Ltd<\/b>\u00a0with the purpose to manage large environmental projects just as Sillam\u00e4e Radioactive Tailings Pond Remediation\u00a0and to provide other environmental management and monitoring related services.<\/p>\n

\u00d6kosil<\/b>\u00a0Ltd has departments in Tallinn and Sillam\u00e4e and accredited environmental monitoring laboratory at Sillam\u00e4e.<\/p>\n

AS \u00d6kosil laboratory is accredited by the Estonian Centre for Standardisation and Accreditation and meets the requirements of the EVS-EN ISO 17025:2017 standard as an experimental laboratory. Accreditation certificate No. L091.<\/p>\n

During the process of accreditation or periodic assessment of the activities of AS \u00d6kosil Keskkonnalabor for compliance with EVS-EN ISO\/IEC 17025:2017 “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories”, it is possible for EAK (Non-profit Association Estonian Centre for Standardisation and Accreditation) assessors to access information related to analyzes and measurements performed for clients.<\/p>\n

Prior to the assessments (carried out once a year), AS \u00d6kosil management and EAK conclude an agreement on compliance with confidentiality requirements regarding the reviewed documentation. This ensures that confidentiality requirements are respected regarding client documentation held by the laboratory.<\/p>\n

      • Ground and waste water<\/strong>: determination of ammonia (titrimetric determination).<\/li>\n
      • Ambient air and emission gases<\/strong>: determination of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide (photometric determination).<\/li>\n
      • Ambient air, air at working places<\/strong>: determination of HF and soluble fluorides, determination of dust.<\/li>\n
      • Air at working places<\/strong>: determination of soluble fluorides (F-), measurement of HF and ammonia.<\/li>\n
      • Emission gases<\/strong>: determination of ammonia definition (photometric determination), determination of fluoride, sulfur dioxide, dust and nitrogen oxides, determination of content of lead in air and emission gases by flame atomic absorption method, determination of ammonia.<\/li>\n
      • Physical factors<\/strong>: measurement of noise, temperature and humidity of indoor air, measurement of illuminance, measurement of velocity of air.<\/li>\n
      • Aerodynamical measurements<\/strong>: measurement of velocity and gas volume of gases in a gas flow.<\/li>\n
      • Radiation measurements<\/strong>: measurement of equivalent dose rate of gamma and x- radiations, measurement of concentration of radon in air, determination of concentration of long-lived alpha radioactive aerosols in air, measurement of radon exhalation.<\/li>\n
